Its all down to life style, diet and genetics. Samoans take three thinks serious family, food religion. Samoans only eat food they grow or hunt themselves which means they have a greater appreciation of the food so they don't over eat like some other countries. Hunting the food also makes them stronger and hardier. Also they take part in lots of strenuous exercise such as rowing and sailing making their gene pool stronger. Welsh rugby genetics     While welsh rugby may not be in the spot light as much of the likes as new Zealand or the pacific islands it is still a team that I myself grew up watching in Swansea and still enjoy watching and my player issue jersey is one of my most prized jerseys. Rugby originates from wales all the way back when a small school boy bored of playing football picked up the ball and his school mates chased him and tackled him to get the ball back. So one reason why some people say that the welsh are a team to be reckoned with is because they have had the most time to learn the sport and to train in it. But why I think the welsh rugby is on the rise apart from their general big size and strength is because they are as passionate as they get second maybe to the new Zealand team and some islanders.
