New Zealand rugby genes

New Zealand rugby genes
and how they succeed.

The nation of New Zealand is a small one with a small population and a GPD so how then can it be the most successful rugby nation in the world. What drives them to succeed ?

One big reason that they succeed over all else is that they are absolutely rugby mad. Rugby much lower than national level is followed by the majority of the population and they also have entire TV stations dedicated to rugby union. There is a huge positive rugby culture encouraged by the majority of the population so not playing rugby would seem strange in New Zealand.

As well as the positive rugby culture there is also an economic advantage of playing rugby in New Zealand. The rewards are higher for playing rugby than for other sports and somewhat easier because of the wide range of positions in rugby athletes of all shapes and sizes can find a place for them on the pitch.

So in short players in New Zealand are successful partly because of a strong gene pool but more because they are willing to work a lot harder than most because of a positive rugby culture and higher rewards.

Here's some new Zealand skills for you to drool over. Enjoy ðŸ˜‰ðŸ˜‰
